Jonah’s Conflict with God’s Compassion
We will continue our "Who Cares?" sermon series on Sunday, April 29th. The story of Jonah gives us a fascinating view into the heart of God. We will see the perfect balance of His justice and compassion. In the process, we will learn why He cares and why we should care too! Please plan to read the short book of Jonah once each week during this five-week series!
TRINITY'S MISSIONS CONFERENCE ~ APRIL 21ST & 22ND:
Saturday, April 21st, 6:30-8:30pm
The Conference kicks off with popcorn and a movie! We are watching “Facing Darkness”,an incredible true story of faith, determination, and prayer…and of how God performed a miracle! We will also be showing "Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie" for the children.
Missions Sunday, April 22nd, 9:30am-2:00pm
Join us Sunday, April 22nd for a time of worship and moving presentations emphasizing the awesome work of Samaritan's Purse. Please take note that we will not have our regular service schedule on that Sunday, but will start at 9:30am and end around 2:00pm. Special children’s classes will be provided 9:30am-12:00pm. We will also have a delicious free lunch catered by Bojangles of Jasper.

WOMEN OF TRINITY SPRING EVENT: Women of Trinity, do you know why we have special events? We have events to celebrate our risen savior Jesus Christ, to strengthen our faith, to get to know and encourage each other, to provide an avenue of outreach to other women in our community and to have fun! We are hosting a Priscilla Shirer simulcast event on April 28th. Our theme is "Cruising into the Word of God" so plan to join us for a God filled day on the good ship Trinity! WEDNESDAY FELLOWSHIP SUPPERS: Our main course for Wednesday, April 25th for Lasagna. Please bring a side to share.
MEMBERSHIP MATTERS: If you are not a member of Trinity but want to find out more about Trinity Church, please plan to join us Sunday, May 6th after the second service for our Membership Matters class. Membership Matters is the first step toward membership at Trinity. However, by attending you are under no obligation if you simply want to learn more about what it means to become a member. WOMEN OF TRINITY SUMMER BLESSINGS: All ladies are invited to join us for our summer blessings series. We will have coffee, fellowship and be blessed by some of our ladies sharing their walk with God. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, May 9th at 10:00am in the Gathering Room.
IGNITE SUMMER YOUTH CAMP: Ignite will be headed to Kentucky June 4-8,to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Accommodations are at a nearby ranch where there will be lots of activities as well as digging in to biblical truths about creation and spending quality time with The One and only God Who Created us.
SAVE THE DATE FOR VBS! Trinity’s Vacation Bible School will be Monday, June 18th - Thursday, June 21st in the evenings. We need volunteers to teach, help with classes, decorate, and help in the kitchen. If you are interested in helping, please contact Casey Caudell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PILATES CLASSES: Beginner to Intermediate Pilates class is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10:45am and Intermediate to Advanced Pilates class is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00-8:45am. Classes meet in area beside the Fellowship Hall. For more information, call Barbara Mendonca, 408-500-8554.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Celebrate Recovery meets every Friday. Dinner is at 6:30pm, followed by Large Group Worship at 7:00pm and Share Groups at 8:00pm. Celebrate Recovery is now open to anyone who has a hurt, habit or hang-up that is stealing the peace God intended you to have.
